Title:  Manager of Government Contracts-Pharma

Description:  This person will be responsible for the process and systems supporting all Government contracts entered into and performed by the Client's Managed Markets area; and all Government related pricing submissions in compliance with Federal and State regulations. The incumbent will collaborate closely with members of the Pricing and Contract Operations, Managed Markets, Legal, and other commercial business functions to assure the interdependencies of commercial and Federal pricing are properly recognized for Government reporting purposes. Requirements:  The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following: Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within a contracting and/or pricing role; including specific experience focused on federal markets
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the interrelationships between commercial and government pricing is required
  • A strong working knowledge of government pricing practices, calculation methodologies, healthcare programs, and supporting regulations is required
  • Working knowledge of automated contracting systems; with preferred experience of Model N's Revenue Management Software
  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and its' application across business functions
