Description: A Boutique hedge fund consulting firm seeks a dynamic individual for a highly visible consulting role. This challenging role involves high-level consulting for a variety of clients in the hedge fund, fund administration and prime brokerage areas.
Responsibilities will include:
- Operational analysis of accounting practices at hedge funds, strategic consulting, fund accounting, creation of custom training programs
- Additionally, the role involves analysis of reporting for GAAP compliance, Profit and Loss analysis, etc.
- Implementation and integration of new systems, ongoing support, modeling of complex derivative instruments and other tasks round out the role

| Requirements: Candidates must have an Operational Analysis background. This person will be familiar with system architecture and design from a business perspective, RDBMS, SQL, Bloomberg, and Geneva. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of complex products including bank debt and credit derivatives; asset-backed securities is highly desired. Experience with Advent Geneva or Citco's Aexeo system is required.
