Description: Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst.
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
- Conduct research for problem disbursements to identify the issue and recommend corrections
- Monitor problem disbursements balances monthly to assist in the resolution to assist the agency's service provider with for-self transactions are researched to post transactions in the accounting system
- Research suspense transaction to identify the correct line accounting to post items in the accounting system
- Provide support to vendor pay (AP) to help resolve problems and decrease late payments
- Assist in the preparation of monthly metrics reports to OSD
- Assist with presentation of financial data, progress, and performance metrics information for briefings and other presentations

| Requirements: The qualified candidate will possess 4-5 years of experience in performing business and/or accounting management tasks for government organizations. This position requires strong Microsoft Office Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills to support the Managerial Accounting Team and provide general administrative support. The ideal candidate would have experience with DoD accounting systems, MOCAS, EDA, and EFR. A BA/BS Degree is also required.
