| Description: A premier worldwide investment firm has an opening for SEC reporting Associate for NYC location. In this challenging, visible role; you will assist in the preparation, review and filing of all financial reports in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations. Reports include 10-K, annual shareholder report, Proxy, 10-Q, 8-K, 11-K, broker-dealer financial statements, pension plan financial statements and various US Treasury and banking regulatory reports. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting department workpapers, formalizing departmental processes and developing working relationships and communications flow across the entire organization.

| Requirements: To be considered for this outstanding opportunity you should have 4 year degree in accounting/finance and 2-3 years of related expereince. Sound knowledge of GAAP and SEC knowledge and project management and organizational skills are required. The ability to meet deadlines in time-sensitive situations and the ability to understand and present ideas clearly and effectively in the oral and written form is required. Candidates must take responsibility for planning, direction and control of various aspects of the reporting process. The ability to collaborate with others to ensure that filings are timely and in compliance; and the ability to research accounting and reporting issues is required. Proficiency in Word and Excel is required. Oracle or other accounting systems experience is preferred.
