| Description: Our client is seeking a Usability Engineer with Human Factors engineering, concentrating on interface design/human factors methodologies for system usability. This person will provide user-centric design support to project teams supporting the design and development of Human Resources based applications for NSPS, DCIPS, National Guard, and DCPDS base contracts. This includes applications that support MY BIZ and MY WORKPLACE, Performance Appraisal application and all supporting performance management applications, and other DCPDS features that require a person/machine interactive process.

| Requirements: This includes the ability to derive business processes, analyze end-user needs, assist in requirements definition and decomposition, design browser-based interfaces, and design/conduct usability testing. The position requires skills that support the design and development of user-based systems and applications that can guide and assist design decisions such as button layouts and use, labeling, display selections, and operational features to generate an intuitive and easy to use integration or interface.
This job requires skills associated with Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, Visual Design, Instructional systems Design, Human Resources Design or similar experience.
