| Description: Specific skills include the ability to analyze and integrate business and data requirements, from an enterprise perspective and promote information sharing including an ability to determine and document resulting business processes, data flows and data models (both logical and conceptual). Your skill set should also include excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to facilitate outreach and education of client and supporting staff on the benefits and aspects of data governance. Included with this is the ability to lead and facilitate meetings and working sessions (for outreach as well as business / data requirements identification and documentation). This includes the ability to identify and work with data stewards in a collaborative environment to facilitate data / information sharing strategies, policies, and processes from a tactical and strategic standpoint. Additionally, experience in working with system development life cycles and enterprise life cycle management methodologies and tools including the ability to identify insertion areas for data-related touch points and decision opportunities. Ideally, candidates should also possess prior experience with the Department of Homeland Security, either department or component-level support and experience working with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), data Reference Model (DRM), and National Information Exchange Model (NIEM).

| Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in implementing all aspects of a data governance capability to include, but not be limited to data stewardship, outreach, policy and processes, touch points, and data analysis. A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management, or Information Management is required.
Candidates should also possess extensive experience and be intimately familiar with the following tools: ERwin, Microsoft Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
