| Description: Our Client, a leading insurance company is searching for an Assistant Vice President of Financial Reporting for their New York City office. This is a newly created role for one of the fastest growing companies in the tri-state area. The primary responsibilities for this position include: all aspects of annual and quarterly SEC Reporting (financial statements, MD&A's, footnotes and other disclosures). You will serve as a technical exert on new accounting pronouncements (FASB) and implement new accounting/Reporting requirements on both a GAAP and STAT basis. You'll play a key role on acquisitions ensuring all financial accounting and Reporting is in compliance with all SEC/GAAP standards. Last, you will ensure all 10K and 10Q filings are completed by the filing deadlines.

| Requirements: Our client will only consider professionals that have extensive experience in property/casualty insurance. Qualified candidates will have expertise of existing GAAP and SEC accounting standards. 7+ years of related experience is required.
