Description:  A world class financial services company seeks an experienced Vice President to manage the regional Regulatory Reporting Control group in the Americas. The Regulatory Reporting Control Group is responsible for the coordination of Operations related data for use in Regulatory reports and for monitoring of all Operations and other Regulatory reporting. This person will manage a team of 3-5. This involves weekly and monthly meeting facilitation with Controllers, Operations Partners and global counterparts. Frequent presentations to Senior Operations Management are included. This role is involved in the coordination and facilitation of the operations contributions to the 15c3-1 Net Capital Calculation and FOCUS Report; the 15c3-3 Customer Reserve with the goal of improving production efficiency of the reports - identifying where improvements can be made and drive charges down. This person will be responsible for the computation of the Basel II Cash Capital Calculation for incorporation into the overall calculation by Controllers; for the monitoring and auditing of Regulatory Reports; and the maintenance of the Regulatory Report Monitor application. This person will be responsible for the facilitation and tracking of Regulatory Audits and Legal Queries; and the creation of training materials and knowledge management tools for Regulatory topics.
Requirements:  Strong written and verbal presentation skills are a must. 7 to 12+ years of Focus reporting experience is required. Strong knowledge of SEC and FRB regulations is required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required. Candidates must have effective time management skills; a willingness to share knowledge and the ability to work effectively across geographical and functional boundaries.
