Description: Kforce has an 8 Month Contract for a Business Systems Analyst working within a data warehouse. The selected Analyst must be able to translate business requirements to technical documentation.
Job Description:
- Perform and coordinate the analysis and design of business systems
- Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective
- Work closely with clients and other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation
- Develop and execute systems testing
- Act as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups
- Work with different business groups / users to understand the business requirements for the project
- Work closely with the business users to understand the current state and target state business processes
- Work with different IT and Business Groups to understand and determine the impacts to the Data Warehouse and/or Data Marts for different projects
- Create the Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) for the Data Warehouse and/or Data Mart for the project
- Provide input to the Data Architect to help create / update Logical / Physical Data Models for the Data Warehouse and/or Data Marts
- Work closely with the Development Team to validate that the technical design meets the business requirements
- Review Test Plans / Scripts to ensure adequate coverage for the proposed design

Requirements: Business Systems Analyst Qualifications:
- Must be a BSA with Data Warehouse experience (all other variations will be declined)
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience (required)
- Minimum 4 years of Data Warehouse experience (required)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in working on ETL applications /Data Marts and Data Warehouse (required)
- Minimum 4 years of experience is required working on MS Office products (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Visio)
- Credit Card Industry experience (preferred)
- Experience migrating large RDBMS Data Warehouse Solutions (IBM, Teradata, or Oracle) for Customer Relationship Management modules (a plus)
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (BO, MicroStrategy, and Cognos) is also a plus
