Description: Kforce is seeking a Finance Management professional for a client in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Functions:
- Provide financial and program support to the agency
- Assist in planning, budgeting, and the execution of research and development (R/D) program actions
- Advise the agency's R/D Managers in the analysis of R/D program funding
- Assist in the coordination of contract documentation, business plans, and other obligation documents
- Support monitoring and reporting of program financial execution
- Maintain project data in the Comprehensive Cost and reporting System (CCARS)
- Support internal business processes and conduct program cost studies

| Requirements: The position requires a BA degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, or Management). This individual must have ten years of experience in DOD's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE System) and working knowledge of acquisition or R/D program management (eight years with a Master's Degree).
Candidates must understand DOD accounting systems and must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and exceptional Microsoft Excel and financial database skills. Candidates must have skill in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Candidates must have experience with DOD Comprehensive Cost and Reporting System (CCARS), Centralized Accounting and Finance Resource Management System (CAFRMS), Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS), and Defense Finance and Accounting Service contract administration processes. The position requires frequent local travel.
