Title:  Defense Travel System Analyst
Location:  Fort Belvoir, VA

Compensation:  $45,000.00 to $70,000.00 per Year

Description:  Our client is seeking a Defense Travel System Analyst. Tasks Will Include:
  • Provide agency wide Defense Travel Administrative (DTA) support and sustainment of the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Provide training to include frequent traveler training and Approving Official/Certifying Official support
  • Assign roles and permission levels and maintain traveler profile information in DTS
  • Oversee the establishment of the organization routing structure for approving and certifying travel
  • Report problems to the DTS Tier 3 Help Desk and follow-up on fixes
  • Provide support with document processing, reporting, Debt Management Monitor responsibilities, budget and lines of accounting support, site reorganization, centrally billed accounts, and post-payment review
  • Assist with the presentation of financial data, progress, performance metrics information for briefings, and other presentations
Requirements:  Defense Travel System Analyst Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of experience in performing business and/or accounting management tasks for government organizations (required)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills (to support the travel team and provide general administrative support)
  • The ideal candidate would have experience with DoD accounting systems, MOCAS, EDA, SPS, and DCAS/CERPS
  • A BA/BS Degree is required
