| Description: Join a highly promising Venture Capital backed start-up with an innovative approach to using Information Technology to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of the health care system. This company develops systems for physicians and hospitals that extract and present data and near Real Time analytics. The company is looking for a Director of data Operations. This role is for someone who has led a data operations team and has worked directly in the integration of large volumes of health care data from heterogeneous sources. The Director of data Operations will oversee operational aspects of data on-boarding from a large array of diverse platforms at thousands of sites. He or she will coordinate a team to initiate extraction from differing clinical and claims data systems; evaluate and implement extraction processes and maintenance at new sites; ensure scalability and data quality monitoring; establish and approve operating policies to mitigate risk and maximize data availability. The appropriate candidate will also gain an intimate knowledge of the data and become a central resource to analytic groups within the business. While technical expertise is useful, it is not a requirement. Rather the role requires a data and quality-focused individual that has proven ability to lead a team of Analysts and Programmers in building a very large, scalable health care data resource.

Requirements: The Director Enterprise Data Operations will have a strong level of experience in the following:
- Building of Operational Data Stores (ODS), Data Marts, and Enterprise Data Warehouses
- Creating automated and scalable Data quality methodologies
- Business and Technical MetaData Management
- Data Analysis and Data Model Development
- Data Governance Concepts and Processes
- Enterprise Data Integration across multiple systems
Candidates should also have the following:
- BS Degree is preferred
- Major EMR vendor (EPIC, Cerner, etc), claims Data integration, or clinical trials experience
- Must have excellent project management and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated abilities to communicate with both technical and business
- This is not a Technology role, so experience managing Database Developers or DBAs is not appropriate
