| Description: This person will be working the design, run teams and business clients, and ensure that services are deployed that are reliable, available and serviceable. This person will be communicating changes that are required for design modifications. This person will deliver projects and services on time and on budget; ensure full functionality when delivered to the operational network and Run Teams; and continually provide process improvement and increase efficiency matrix. This person will ensure there is a standard process in place and followed for support and management of the network that will drive consistent reliability and serviceability; work closely with the necessary Teammates to ensure the Network Services Team, IT Infrastructure Team are able to meet all service commitments to the business; and work closely with other Leaders of the IT Infrastructure Team to communicate, share and implement best practices. This person must be the expert on the technologies, tools and processes for managing the above areas of responsibilities. This person will be responsible for the documentation of all the build/deployment activities.

Requirements: Candidates must have strong data/voice network experience and proven track record of supporting Enterprise voice and data networks of over 500 nodes. 5-7 years of experience working in the Network environment managing data and voice networks in a high-availability, distributed environment (~500 US and ~40 global locations) is required. Experience should include LAN, WAN, Wireless, VoIP, telephony applications, VPN with knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection, load balancing and SAN topology. Candidates must have a broad range of knowledge in Cisco Networking Systems and Cisco Call Manager. Cisco certifications such as Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred. Experience with network management tools is required, such as NetQos, Solarwinds, OpenView, Ciscoworks, Opsware, Whats Up Gold and similar technologies is required. Strong knowledge of metrics reporting for network services is required. Cisco Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience is required. CCNP is preferred but not required. This person must be a technical person with a PM background is ideal; an engineer who can run projects.
