Description: Kforce is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer for a Warren client.
Functions Include:
- Design and code from specifications
- Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications
- Use coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
- Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions
- Perform project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks
- Develop, maintain, and report Intranet metrics
- Interface with different Departments within the organization regarding new deployments
- Manage, administer, and maintain all Internet and Intranet sites
- Research / analyze data processing functions, methods, and procedures
- Monitor program execution for expected performance

Requirements: Senior Software Systems Engineer Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's Degree in this area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in this field or related area
- 8+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL in an Oracle Database Server
- 8+ years of experience in programming knowledge in C and PRO*C
- 8+ years of back-end integration experience working with development teams on the deployment of back-end servers in VMS and the HP-UX platform
- Strong C / PROC to include design and coding
