| Description: Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Architect / Developer in New London, CT. The Report Developer will create report templates and their underlying queries to generate the required management reports and communications. This position requires interfacing with global functions.
|
Requirements: Technical Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT experience including extensive database architecture and design skills working on high performance solutions in large corporate environments
- 5+ years of extensive, hands-on experience in ETL Development using Informatica
- 7+ years of extensive, hands on experience with Business Objects
- Experience coding Informatica mappings based custom designs for the group
- Experience tuning Informatica Processes
- Experience coding and configuring Sessions/workflows
- Candidates must have Business Objects XI Universe design and development experience
- Experience of building large scale universes is a must
- Assist Business users in creating ad hoc Queries
- Candidate should possess excellent skills in documentation of the tasks that are performed
- Have good familiarity with the Microsoft suite of tools
- Adopt creative approach methodology in troubleshooting BO and Data Warehousing environment issues, assist end user queries in a timely manner, proactively address and appraise management of any technical issues
- Should have strong testing skills
- Must be able to work in a matrix organization and team environments
- Ability to resolve complex issues related to project interdependencies. Self-motivated individual with ability to rapidly adapt to new environments and changing requirements
Communications Skills Requirements:
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills in English-both oral and written abilities to succinctly compose memos, etc., have solid interpersonal skills and have sufficient to interact with colleagues and clients at various levels and work to resolve issues in fast paced environment
Additional Skills Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and have well-developed organizational skills
- Preferred candidate will have had some experience in an IT organization
- Candidates should have developed projects using SDLC
- Ability to deliver given challenges
