Title:  JCIDS Senior Analyst

Description:  The Senior Analyst will be the MAGTF operations SME on capabilities-based assessment (CBA) team supporting the Combat Development Command (CDC)/ Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD). Experience in various facets of MAGTF operations is very important as candidate will provide requirements analysis in maneuver warfare functional areas. The candidate will assist in conducting Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) analysis of the Expeditionary Force Development System (EFDS) as required under the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS). Knowledge of current Marine Corps operational environments is strongly desired to evaluate current and future operational forces needs. The candidate will assist in identifying potential materiel and non-materiel DOTMLPF solutions as part of the CBA and assist in drafting a Solution Planning Directive (SPD) recommending course(s) of action based upon conducted analysis. The candidate will work in all areas of MAGTF functionality to ensure cross functional integration. The candidate will assist in developing and staffing the MAGTF Requirements List (MRL) using the results of the CBA, along with all current programs of record.
Requirements:  Experience in performing capabilities analysis for military organizations is desirable. The candidate must be able to communicate well among senior staffs and contribute to discussion upon review of various capability requirements and solutions for consideration. Experience and familiarity with military headquarters and major warfighting stakeholders and their processes are strongly desired. A BS degree is desired. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
