| Description: A major client, located in New York City, is seeking a Java / J2EE Architect / Designer with .NET experience. This person will be responsible for the analysis, architecture, design, and implementation of business software. This person will document architecture and design and write documented code; be involved in unit testing; and assist the Lead Architect in the design and development of frameworks and components as well as mentor others in the design of software applications.

Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
- A minimum of 5+ years of related experience
- Expertise in UNIX, Linux, and Windows hardware / software troubleshooting techniques and enterprise infrastructure support
- Knowledge and/or experience in LANs, WANs, and security
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Client oriented and service minded
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Team player with a collaborative personality
- Performance tuning
- Hardware assembly, testing, and deployment
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and occasionally work during unusual hours
