| Description: Be responsible for managing application systems processes, standards, implementation, end user training and consulting, and support activities for the Rational Suite of Products. Provide management, guidance, training, and development for staff technical professionals. Interface with various company divisions to analyze, implement, and test applications. Provide documentation and training for users for new and/or enhanced applications. Complete assigned business plan projects and changes according to schedules and budgets. Provide 7 days x 24 hour coverage and technical support for software problem resolution. Monitor and perform tasks to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls and other regulatory regulations are communicated and adhered to in the department. Participate in the management of large IT initiatives and direct efforts of internal and external project management resources providing this service. Handle additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements: Rational Development Tools Team Lead Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience is required in analysis, design, and implementation of software business systems with the Rational Tool Suite
- Backgrounds must include experience in the Rational product suite and demonstrated ability in rolling out solution development tools within an organization
- Supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a technical team is desired
- Strong project leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential as well as the ability to work across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of Java and/or the software engineering industry experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field is preferred
