Description: A major client, located in New York City, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst. This individual must be experienced and well-organized to contribute to successful implementations of custom software solutions in the area of Business Analysis and Requirements Management. This is a critical role within the company and our client needs a talented person to fill it.
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
- Elicit and document stakeholder needs and requests and facilitate prioritization of those requests
- Effectively communicate complex concepts to all-levels of the client organization and the project team through efficient use of appropriate requirements artifacts (e.g., Use Cases, UI prototypes, UML Models, etc.)
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of Jr. Business Analysts
- Contribute to the definition of the client's Requirements Methodology
- Manage requirements change process through effective maintenance of requirement attributes and traceability
- Develop end-user documentation and application help files
- Develop and deliver end-user training
- Assist in the analysis and design of technical solutions that fulfill the stated requirements

Requirements: The successful applicant will possess the following requirements:
- 5+ years of applicable experience in Business Analysis for software systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and convey new and complex businesses and industries
- Experience eliciting and developing full-lifecycle requirements artifacts including Use Case Models, Use Case Specifications, User Stories, Supplementary Specifications, structural and dynamic UML models, and user-interface prototypes
- Experience with (or thorough understanding of) the RUP or other Agile software development methodologies
- Desire to learn and apply new skills and methodologies
- Eagerness to contribute to growth and development of the BA Group
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Experience with Six Sigma is a plus
