| Description: This person will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of Linux UNIX LAN/WAN trading systems network infrastructure. This role will strategize and plan for expansions, including frequent contact with external parties (exchanges, data centers) over connectivity. This person must be a real troubleshooter who excels at spotting issues and monitoring problems. You must be willing to share your knowledge with colleagues to raise the team's collective expertise. This person will build and support a low latency, high performance, and high volume Linux UNIX Server LAN/WAN infrastructure; work with state-of-the-art UNIX systems, WAN hardware, and trading software; keep an open eye for technical improvements; and safeguard a high availability and redundancy.

| Requirements: A strong academic background with a B.S., B.A. is required; with an M.S. or higher education being preferred. 5-10+ years of experience in Linux UNIX Engineering and Systems Administration are required. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of UNIX installation, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, capacity planning, back ups and recoveries. Strong UNIX Shell Scripting background is required. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Firewalls, WAN protocols and connections is a plus. The ability to troubleshoot a wide array of system, networking and hardware problems is required. Any Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory, VMWare, and MS-Exchange is a plus. Candidates must be detail oriented and have a strong ability to multi-task. A demonstrable background and interest in financial markets or experience with real time trading systems is a plus. Candidates must be equally able to work as a sole contributor and function as a team leader. This person must be outgoing and communicative; service-minded, able to help with whatever's needed' and able to deal well with pressure and multiple priorities. This person must be a generalist and specialist in a really exciting and fast paced environment.
