Description: The qualified professional will be responsible for the design, configuration, support and administration of the enterprise's Oracle and SQL databases. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining the application and user security within the enterprise financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database administration including performance monitoring and capacity planning
- Database backup and restoration verification
- Perform database installations and upgrades
- Work in conjunction with various project teams to provide guidance on database issues
- Responsible for database design and configuration
- Act as 2nd and 3rd level support for database issue resolution
- Design, implement and administer user security hierarchy within enterprise financial systems
- Consult with business unit subject matter experts to determine security requirements
- Assist application support staff in the troubleshooting process for application issues
- Assist application design staff in the design or upgrade of applications
- Perform other support or project related duties as assigned

Requirements: Requirements Include:
- 5 years of hands on Oracle and MS SQL Server database administration experience
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating system
- General knowledge of application security principles
- General experience with networking protocols
- Ability to interact well with team members, end users, and all levels of management
- Experience with PL/SQL programming
- Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) required or equivalent experience
