| Description: A major financial company is seeking an experienced Senior Architect and Developer/Analyst as a Project Lead for its Financial Trading Development Group. This person will be responsible for design, technical analysis and hands on development of applications. This person will be involved in each stage of the project lifecycle of GUI driven applications, back end interfaces and framework components, and will also participate in technical design, architecture, technology research and upgrades. The candidate will join a team of developers with the primary responsibility of technical design and development efforts in a highly dynamic and demanding environment.

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- 6-10+ years of experience leadings hands-on, highly advanced, object-oriented web development
- Exceptionally strong technical, analytical and communication skills - both written and verbal
- Exceptionally strong experience in developing back end systems and interfaces
- Proven experience in design, architecture, and hands on development of distributed windows and web-based systems using Microsoft software development platform consisting of MS.Net framework (1.1/2.0/3.0/3.5/4.0), C#, ASP.Net, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, XML, XSLT, Java Script and DHTML
- Proven experience in OOP and component based development
- Proven experience modeling relational databases and with data optimization processes
- Experience analyzing functional and technical requirements, estimating impact, designing and architecting solutions, preparing development project plans, assigning tasks to developers and fully participating in the development process, including codes reviews and integration
- Understanding of the SDLC Project Management model
Desired skills:
- Experience in the Financial or Banking industry
- Solid MS Visio/Project skills
- Engineering and deployment experience in the IIS environment
- Design Pattern and Rational Unified Process exposure are big pluses
