Description: Kforce has an available hands-on position to lead project application design and implementations.
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
- Ensure projects follow proper architecture design and best practice configuration
- Advise clients on key architectural designs
- Design Java or MS.NET business objects for re-use across multiple enterprise-wide applications
- Deploy Java Servlets in a high-availability, clustered environment
- Enhance the performance of application servers through JVM
- Be responsible for the installation and support of Java Servlets distributed as .war and .ear files
- Integrate messaging platforms using JMS and MQSeries
- Design and implement message business architecture

Requirements: Qualified candidates will possess the following experience and skills:
- WebSphere, Tomcat, or WebLogic experience
- Familiarity using LDAP to design secure applications
- Ability to integrate messaging platforms using JMS and MQSeries
- Skill in ERwin data modeling and tuning Oracle, MS-SQL Server, or DB2
- Java or JavaScript skills
- Familiarity with network design, routing, and performance tuning
- Skilled in UNIX and Windows 2003
- Skilled in XSD schemas and proper XML document design
- Rules Management such as Blaze, ILog, and Haley
- JES is a plus
