| Description: Kforce is seeking experienced PHP Developers with strong hands-on experience and knowledge of LAMP Web systems consisting of PHP, Linux, Apache, and MySQL to work on creating Web and database modules of brand new, exciting, and next generation social games on multiple platforms. We are seeking someone with 2-4 years of Web and database development experience, high technical aptitude, a positive team player attitude that is excited and ready to be challenged technically and grow overall technical skills. Requirements: PHP Web Development Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent educational background
- 1-4 years of PHP experience including experience with PHP 4 and 5 with an emphasis on Object-Oriented Programming and the use of design patterns
- Skilled in MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Strong understanding of Web technologies and their implementation
- 3+ years of experience building and supporting active Web properties
- Ability to plan and execute several projects concurrently in a small-team environment
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical team members
- Debug live applications
- Write applications to create and parse XML documents
- Write statistics gathering applications
- Write modular, documented, and efficient code
Absolute Essential Skills:
- PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, XHTML, Dreamweaver, or other design tool
- MySQL, Linux/FreeBSD, and Windows
Helpful Skills:
- Web game development
- Flash, ActionScript, Facebook, Myspace, etc., and application development
Candidates must have a portfolio of previous sites developed and code samples available for review. Applicants may be asked to perform a demonstration of their abilities or show developed code in order to assess technical knowledge.
