Description: Our client is looking for a dynamic and motivated Software Engineer to join their Mobile Wireless Products team to develop the company's next generation of Mobile Products. This individual will assume the unique challenge in writing software that benefits many customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business representatives to define requirements and develop technical specifications
- Architect software solutions and determine current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems; responsible for the selection of new concepts and methodology, and development of major routines and utilities
- Communicate effectively to ensure that all business requirements are being assessed and addressed to ensure development projects meet or exceed performance targets
- Participate in all activities accordingly to ensure on time deliverables are met including day-to-day planning and coordination with testers, developers, project managers, and business representatives
- Drive full life cycle product development
- Collaborate with business owners to solidify requirements
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation and assure designs meet requirements; deliver high quality work on tight schedules

Requirements: Mobile Web Development Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Web and Java development experience with a demonstrable online Website / application portfolio
- SOA / Web Services, Java, and C++ development experience
- UI, wireless, multimedia, and eCommerce development experience is a plus
- BS or MS degree is preferred in Computer Science
- 7+ years of industry experience
- A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals
- Deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture for mobile devices and wireless systems
- Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code-reviews, and a preference for Agile methods
- Robust project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and executing on committed schedules
- Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem solving skills: technical, project, and personnel
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills: verbal, written, and listening, including customer relationships
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Passion for building new mobile products in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
