Description: Our client is looking for a candidate to formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs.
Functions:
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and capacity
- Prepare detail specifications for developers
- Provide technical expertise in evaluating new software modifications that will enhance operating and development activities
Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed business and functional analysis for small to medium sized system enhancements or work streams of larger initiatives
- Be responsible for project through the analysis phase including communication with the business owners / stakeholders, completing specified documentation, organized tracking of open issues, scheduling meetings as necessary, identifying and mitigating project risk, and status reporting
- Develop position statements on complex subject matter
- Write business and functional documentation using specified document templates including current and future process flows
- Elicit business requirements from system users and translate them to functional specifications
- Provide technical guidance to business users to formulate future system processes and functionality
- Provide analytical support to the technology team through the development phase and QA Team through the test phase including review and critique of technical architecture and test plans as required
- Provide peer review of other team members' documents as requested

Requirements: Minimum Job Specifications:
- Bachelors degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent
- Proven experience with Risk Management applications and BASEL initiatives
- 8 years of related financial services experience; custody banking or securities lending experience (preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of Business functions
- Experience with project Management methodology
- Excellent analytical skills
- Very strong relationship Management skills
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with SQL / Toad (preferred)
