| Description: Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. This person will be responsible for creating, documenting, developing, testing and implementing new products or continued improvements of existing products. This person will interact and coordinate with suppliers, electrical, control systems group, test system engineers and quality department. This role will also lead the prototyping and preproduction runs, very hands-on role.

Requirements: Requirements Include:
- Four year engineering BSME degree or equivalent, an advanced degree is a plus
- 3 years of experience working with Solidworks CAD system, sheet metal parts modeling, machine parts with geometric tolerance, weldments, top down assembly techniques, parametric modeling using configuration tables. Basic stress analysis and motion analysis using Cosmos package
- Solidworks certification CSWP is preferred
- In depth materials knowledge
- In depth knowledge of following metal fabrication technologies: CNC punching, laser cutting and forming, welding TIG and MIG, finishing and assembly
- Practical experience, solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic circuitry
