| Description: Our client is seeking a Disaster Recovery Testing Coordinator. The Disaster Recovery Testing Coordinator role is accountable for ensuring that Application Disaster Recovery Plans (ADRP) are accurate and effective in recovering applications in the event of a disaster. The coordinator will create a testing schedule and determine, the relative priority of applications tests based on criteria such as application criticality, previous test results and last test date. The coordinator will ensure that robust test plans, which meet enterprise standards, are created by members of the application maintenance and development teams. The role will act as a liaison between the Infrastructure solutions department and the applications team to ensure the testing environment is available and properly prepared. They will create a program view of all concurrent testing efforts and coordinate communications and updates between the responsible parties. In addition, the coordinator will facilitate discussions around all open remediation items and manage activities to ensure timely resolution and closure. The will prepare an executive summary document to be presented to senior leadership for review and sign-off. Continuous improvement should be applied to all aspects of plan development and testing. This role will champion discussions and propose process efficiencies that will result in more streamlined workflows.
