Description: Our client is seeking a SAP BA - FI/CO in Falls Church, VA. The client will accept EAD Card, Green Card, and US Citizen.
Responsibilities:
- Gather user requirements, analyze and define business process flows, and prepare detailed methods and procedures related to an SAP implementation
- Design and configuration of SAP implementation for areas of responsibility
- Assist data migration efforts by analyzing data from legacy system(s) in order to determine proper transformation of data for use in SAP
- Analyze gaps between current business processes and industry best practices in order to recommend a preferred implementation
- Develop functional specifications for Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversion and Enhancements and coordinate with technical team to ensure proper implementation of such components
- Support unit and system testing of an SAP implementation
- Serve as a member of the support team for an SAP implementation, providing end-user support as well as educating technical trainers
- Work with users, business and technical stakeholders on defining revisions to an existing SAP production system

Requirements: Requirements Include:
- B.S or M.S Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or related field. Leading role in one or two large-scale SAP implementations achieving production status
- Thorough understanding of the following areas within Finance and Controlling: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, controlling, new GL, integration with sales and distribution, and integration with project systems
- Ability to design and configure SAP modules for release 5.0 or greater
- Able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users
- Exceptional ability to elicit requirements and translate into an effective design within SAP
- Experience with implementing SAP in a services industry. Ability to model business and technical concepts using a variety of notations and methods (e.g., flow charts, state charts, use cases, system flow diagrams, UI mock-ups, logical database design)
- Excellent communication, inter-personal, and team skills
- Prior experience and understanding of the following SAP technologies are a plus: HR, CATS, Project Systems (PS), and BW
- Experience with a structured methodology related to an SAP implementation such as Value SAP / Accelerated SAP or other
- Involvement as a dedicated team member for at least 2 full life cycle implementations (from Design through Go-Live stages); at least one for a services industry
- Experience implementing FICO for a service orientated company
- Experience implementing FICO for a company that has multiple company codes in various countries using multiple currencies
- Detail oriented
- Exceptional requirements gathering skills
