| Description: The primary responsibilities will center on report requirements definition in support of a multi-year initiative to replace the order management system for the Client Business Delivery. The Business Analyst will work with the business stakeholders to understand how their reporting and analytical needs will be impacted as a result of changes to the order management system.
The role requires a passion for combining business requirements with a technical understanding of the system to help identify unique reporting solutions. This role combines the soft consulting / documentation skills of a Business Analyst with the technical aptitude of a data analyst. This person will gather, validate and document detailed data and reporting requirements down to the column level and report layout, in direct support of business requirements and priorities. This person will serve as a liaison between the data Services Group and business stakeholders. This person will be responsible for the identification of data sources for the required data attributes. This person will build relationships with business customers and IS project leads. The project is constantly evolving with many stakeholders and IS technical leads.
The Business Analyst must be an expert at navigating through a complex organization of resources without getting easily frustrated.

| Requirements: 5 years of IT or equivalent experience including 3-5 years of involvement in reporting, business intelligence, or data warehousing projects is required. A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, is required. Strong consulting and presentation skills are required. Experience in identifying and documenting business requirements in a data warehouse environment is required. Experience in JAD (joint application design) facilitation or other requirements gathering techniques and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences is required. Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication, business writing, and project management skills are required. The ability to work independently and apply individual judgment and self-direction with limited supervision is required. Knowledge of relational databases, data queries, and reports is required. Experience with Cognos, MicroStrategy or other query and reporting tools is required.
