| Description: Our client is seeking an Analyst role - COBOL background and an emphasis on having strong analysis skills. This person will work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. This person must be a team member of technical activities (including analysis, planning, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of systems for business areas). This person must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. Under general direction, this person formulates and defines system scope and objectives; devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results; and prepares detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written. This person designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Candidates must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. This person provides technical leadership on complex projects.
