Description: Kforce is looking for qualified applicants to fill an Accounts Receivable position at a major health care provider in the Indianapolis area.
Functions:
- Gather information and research discrepant balances; report findings to management
- Contact insurance companies to determine why claims are not paid and take the necessary action to resolve the issue
- Examine electronic EOB Forms and have discussions with insurance representatives

Requirements: Candidates must have experience working with UB-92 or UB-04 Forms. Hospital billing experience is preferred.
Applicants should be dependable team players with the following skills:
- 1-3 years of healthcare billing and/or accounts receivable experience
- Knowledge of medical insurance and denials
- Experience using IDX software (a plus)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous health care accounts receivable experience (a plus)
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to communicate effectively; prioritize, troubleshoot, and problem solve
