Description: Kforce is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst for our local Milwaukee client. This is a permanent direct-hire opportunity! The ideal candidate will have PeopleSoft HCM experience.
The Senior IT Business is responsible for the requirements analysis, functional solution design, testing, and deployment of technology-enabled solutions to the global Human Resources (HR) organization. The Analyst will be responsible for planning and managing small projects and partnering with the HR community at various levels to determine business requirements and expectations. Collaborate with the extended IT and HR Teams (at the Corporate-level and in all regions) to ensure global alignment and consistency; and to ensure solutions meet stated objectives. Think strategically and design solutions which cross business groups keeping a broad, multi-function, multi-year perspective. The right candidate will have extensive experience with the PeopleSoft HCM Suite and other ERP systems that streamline HR business processes.
Primary Duties:
- Lead the requirements analysis, functional solution design, quality assurance, and solution deployment of technology-enabled solutions to the global Human Resources (HR) organization
- Develop relationships with HR community and other project stakeholders
- Proactively seek and secure agreement from customers and stakeholders for requirements, plans, and solutions
- Ensure global alignment and consistency while effectively balancing global, regional, and local needs
- Analyze and document business objectives, problems, and requirements
- Ensure all stakeholders are identified and consulted
- Ensure global and enterprise-wide requirements are taken into consideration
- Understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in process, people, and technology
- Lead technology improvements
- Collaborate with the HR community to ensure process and people improvements are addressed
- Prepare project deliverables

Requirements: Senior IT Business Analyst Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- MBA or MS Degree (preferred)
- At least 8 years of functional experience in applications design, development, testing, and implementation of business applications (preferably the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Suite)
- Proven ability to analyze business requirements, design effective technology-based solutions, and deploy successfully
- Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, matrix organization within a multi-national company
- Proven ability to manage across functions and successfully engage and influence others outside area of control
- Proven ability to re-engineer and improve business processes; utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change
- Experience implementing technology in multiple countries across multiple regions of the world
- Proven understanding of cultural differences and ability to impact across cultures
- Strong customer-focused and excellence-driven track record
- Demonstrated understanding of customer driven-products, services, and solutions
- Experience with project management including project planning and execution, resource planning, scope control, risk, and issue management
- Thorough understanding of applications development methodologies, standards, and best practices
- Proven ability to work effectively with functional and technical teams
- Thorough understanding of and proven ability to follow disciplined quality assurance processes and practices
- Experience with planning, leading, and performing change management, communications, and training activities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present technical matters in a simple, clear, and concise manner to the targeted audience
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues who use English as a second language
