Description: The Unified Communications Solutions Architect is responsible for a suite of solutions to support Global businesses. The candidate should have experience with Cisco implementations of Unified Communications Manager and Unity Unified Messaging. In this position, you will join the Global Network Communications Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical leadership, architecture, design, project management, and deployment of Unified Communications solutions. The position is recognized as integral to both revenue generating and operationally efficient functions of the company.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Technology architecture, design, and engineering of Unified Communications solutions
- Business Requirements Collection and Analysis
- Technical Communications and Consulting
- Establish and maintain key relationships with strategic suppliers, such as Cisco, AT/T, and Global Crossing
- Manage software release plans and schedules for Unified Communications solutions
- Maintain standards for Unified Communications Solutions
- Enforce adherence to all change control and software release / patch management processes

Requirements: Basic Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT
- Cisco Unified Communications Architecture, Integration, Design, and Deployment experience
- Data networking knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within Telecommunications infrastructures: PRI/T1/E1 Circuits and Signaling Protocols
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation within LAN/WAN Networks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical documentation and client communication)
- H.323 and SIP design and deployment experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a computer related field
- Cisco Voice Certifications, CCNA and CCVP
- Avaya Definity and Audix support experience
- Cisco Unified MeetingPlace deployment and support experience
- Understanding of network security concepts
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
