Description: Our client is seeking a Junior Java Developer.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Performs Java Application development to support business customer needs
- Will research, analyze, prototype, program and test software Applications using Java, WebSphere, HTML, JavaScript, and some C#.Net
- Will work under the supervision of Senior Java Developers and participate in the development, testing and deployment of business Applications
- Will provide on-call support for assigned Applications

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- 1-2 years of Java programming in an Insurance environment, with some level of .Net Development experience (Can be light)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in a clear and concise manner
- Willingness to participate in systems and insurance training classes
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Should have a working knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideal technical skills include Java, JavaScript, HTML, JSP, WebSphere, C#, ASP.Net, SQL, and MS SQL Server
- An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information systems or data processing is preferred
