Description: Our candidate in the Vernon Hills area is seeking a Financial Analyst. This candidate will be responsible for reporting and analysis around the rebates process as well as interpreting these results for various stakeholders and recommending improvements. The Analyst will identify trends and unusual items in the rebates claimed, write-offs/adjustments, and the aged rebates within the receivables. The Analyst will publish the reporting and analysis via dashboards and monthly reports to Finance Management and other stakeholders. The Analyst will also perform ad hoc analysis when needed.
Essential Functions:
- Create and publish weekly / monthly Vendor Incentives dashboards and reports
- Forecast, track, and accrue Volume Rebates
- Analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of the rebates processes and recommend improvements
- Improve the reporting capabilities of the team using new data warehouses and tools while working closely with IT
- Perform special projects as needed

Requirements: Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- 2-4 years of A/R Deduction Analysis experience or comparable public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA and/or CPA
- Experience with reporting and analysis
- Experience with ProClarity or similar reporting tools
- Experience with preparing PowerPoint presentations
