| Description: Kforce has a position located East of Pittsburgh for a growing public company! This person will be responsible for supervising 4-6 Accountants overseeing month-end close functions and financial reporting for multiple locations. This person will provide guidance, ensure timeliness of tasks being completed, and monitor job performance and review work. You will work normal business hours. There is the expectation of some OT at each month's end and quarter-ends.

Requirements: Assistant Controller Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of general accounting experience with strong supervisory skills
- An ideal candidate will have supervised more than 4 people
- Healthcare / Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
- B.S. degree in Accounting
- Finance / Accounting includes Manager experience; Financial Statement preparation, General Ledger accounting, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, and General Accounting
- A CPA is a plus
- Public accounting experience is preferred, but not required
- Previous supervision over lower-level staff members is essential
