Description: Our client is seeking a Junior Finance/Treasury Analyst.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Manage cash daily for concentrated funds, including making daily investment and borrowing decisions
- Maintain bank account structure and work with banks as appropriate to implement any necessary changes
- Maintain and develop cash forecasting model and regularly advise Treasurer of corporate cash position or borrowing requirements; maintain detailed deposit and disbursement history
- Maintain and develop knowledge of current cash management and treasury strategies and applications; evaluate new Treasury ideas as they become available
- Coordinate and maintain credit card processing program for company locations and provide support as needed
- Conduct NPV financial modeling as needed
- Review on a quarterly basis 401(k) and Pension plan investment performance with help of outside investment consultant; relative to benchmarks and other performance indicators
- Assist with preparation of plan financial statements for Pension Plans, Profit Sharing, and 401(k) Plans
- Monitor debt covenant restrictions to ensure compliance
- Coordinate bank audits for asset based lending arrangement
- Maintain current knowledge of interest rate environment related to borrowings
- Maintain letters of credit and review associated fees regularly
- Review policies and procedures for the receipt and disbursement of cash to ensure adequate internal controls are in place and efficient
- Review and summarize commercial banking fees; ensure accuracy of charges and dispute errors and request bank reimbursement
- Develop budget for interest expense, interest income and banking fees; assist in developing Treasury department budget
- Assist external auditors with debt and cash confirmations
- Work with internal auditors on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance related to treasury function
- Assist with annual insurance renewals
- Provide reports and analysis as required to various dpmt.

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar or related work
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good grasp of financial and treasury issues
- Strong attention to detail
