Description: Our client is seeking a RPG Developer.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Develop data solutions
- Work with Data Analysts and the data group to understand requirements in accordance to business need
- Support the definition and verification of user requirements
- Complete development/programming as described in design specifications
- Develop database back-end and front-end processes
- Follow and enhance Green Tree development methodology and standards
- Develop test plans and test data
- Conduct data movement testing - often in partnership with QA/tester
- Maintain and support data solutions
- Modify, enhance and maintain applications as required
- Maintain integrity of application
- Investigate and resolve system problems caused by program failures
- Develop business reports
- Provide technical documentation
- Update auxiliary system documentation as needed

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- 10+ years of development experience
- General Mortgage / Financial background
- Working familiarity of AS/400 development tools
- Specific knowledge and work with SQL integration with AS/400 development
- RPGIII, RPGIV, ILE
- Knowledge of quality software development process and methodology, specifically physical design and production support
- Knowledge of data architecture
