Description:  Kforce Consulting is seeking a WebSphere Message Broker Integration Developer for a contract-to-perm position in Cincinnati, Ohio. Job Description:
  • Work as a member of the Enterprise Integration Services Development Team
  • Be primarily engaged on the design and development of Retail Integration Services deployed to store locations utilizing a distributed Message Broker infrastructure
  • Participate in design and development of components, services, standards, and processes that constitute SOA architecture
Additional Duties:
  • Project engagements across the Enterprise Service Bus, interfacing with additional integration technologies
Essential Job Functions:
  • Development of re-usable framework services and integrations for use within a large scale Federated Enterprise Service Bus environment
  • Communicate with business analysts and business partners
  • Mentor and consult with peers and associates on Service and Integration development, best-practices, standards, and tools sets used
  • Provide Tier-3 support of complex application development issues relating to the integration and service development space
  • Partner with application infrastructure groups to tune and troubleshoot applications within the Enterprise Integration Software Platforms
  • Work with other application support team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure operational readiness as it relates to integration with upstream and downstream systems
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Integration Architecture Teams on recommendations and changes in service / integration best practices, processes, and frameworks
  • Define company best practices and standards for developing re-usable services and integrations
  • Define and implement monitoring requirements to identify issues before they are reported by end-users
  • Maintain service and integration development framework support documentation
  • Be required to assume the Development Team Lead role for select integration projects
Requirements:  Integration Development Qualifications:
  • WebSphere MQ Series (WMQ 6.0+)
  • WebSphere Message Broker (WMB 6.x) development
  • Demonstrated years of experience with enterprise integration development
  • Strong communications skills (oral and written)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or MIS related discipline
  • Highly knowledgeable with Java language and Java development practices to include knowledge of J2EE standards and architecture (EJB, JMS, JCA, JTA, etc.)
  • Framework Development and re-usable service implementation
  • Transformation Engines
  • SOA (design and application)
  • Demonstrated Enterprise Messaging experience
  • Must have experience with relational databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Must have experience of Web technologies including HTTP/S, XML, Web Services standards, and service-oriented architecture
  • Experience in development of applications / processes using Service Oriented Architecture
  • Proven experience of application and data integration implementations
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills sufficient to assess complex problems and recommend and implement effective solutions
  • Knowledge of business process modeling
  • Independently perform assignments with instruction limited to results expected
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the capability of working in a team environment to accomplish tasks individually and through working with others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience with formal development processes and lifecycles
