Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting diverse networking environments of various complexities. 3 to 5 years of Novell experience and a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) are required. The candidate must also have experience in managing a desktop environment including deployment, application installation and ongoing support technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Required Skills include:
- Operating Systems: Windows 98/NT/2000/XP, Windows Server NT/2000/2003, Novell Netware 6.5, Groupwise and Bordermanager
- Technologies: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Windows, Novell, eDirectory, Software imaging and Distribution, Active Directory, Remote Support and monitoring Microsoft Office, Installshield, Veritas Backup Software, VMware, Ghost, and MS Systems Management Server
- Hardware: Servers, Desktop, laptop, network switches, routers, printers
- Novell to Microsoft migration experience
- System Center Configuration Manager 2007 experience is a plus
