Requirements: Qualified candidates will have a minimum 5 years of experience designing, implementing and supporting diverse networking environments of various complexities with 1 to 2 years of Novell experience. The selected candidate will also have experience in managing a desktop environment including deployments, application installation, and ongoing support technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Required Skills Include:
- Operating Systems: Windows 98/NT/2000/XP, Windows Server NT/2000/2003, Novell Netware 6.5, Groupwise, and Bordermanager
- Technologies: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Windows, Novell, eDirectory, software imaging and distribution, Active Directory, Remote Support, and monitoring Microsoft Office, Installshield, Veritas Backup Software, VMware, Ghost, and MS Systems Management Server
- Hardware: Servers, Desktops, laptop, network switches, routers, printers
- Novell to Microsoft migration experience
- System Center Configuration Manager 2007 experience is a plus
