Description: Our client is seeking a Business Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Interaction with functional department and end user groups to understand Business needs and assist in developing system solutions to meet these needs. Serves as functional -project lead- on department specific initiatives
- Works across organizational boundaries to document and develop functional specifications and provide and coordinate support for the design, testing and maintenance. Translates concepts into written requirements documents
- Documents, analyzes and proposes new processes that increase efficiency, data accuracy and automation which match user requirements and adhere to the process reengineering framework. Ensures our processes mirror the evolving Business strategies
- Liaises with IT delivery teams to ensure Business requirements are clear and complete, and works with IT to ensure effective implementation of automated solutions (i.e. through Business-side testing, training and maintenance)
- Evaluates test results with change requestors. Designs testing plan and manages testing plan execution and issues resolution
- Develops and delivers training as required

Requirements: Job Requirements:
Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Information Systems, or equivalent experience is required
- 3-5 years of solid experience in a similar role analyzing Business needs
- Experience with Lawson, HRsmart, or other HR Information Systems
