Description:  Senior Business Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Lead interaction with the user department and end user groups to understand Business needs and assist in developing system solutions to meet these needs
  • Serve as a functional 'project lead' on department specific initiatives
  • Work across organizational boundaries and across Business cycles to document and develop functional specifications and provide and coordinate support for the design, testing, and maintenance
  • Translate concepts into written requirements documents
  • Document, analyze, and propose new processes that increase scalability, efficiency, data accuracy, and automation which match user requirements and adhere to the process reengineering framework
  • Ensure process solutions support evolving Business strategies
  • Evaluate test results with change requestors
  • Design testing plan and manage the testing plan execution
  • Liaise with IT Delivery Teams to ensure Business requirements are clear and complete
  • Work with IT to ensure effective implementation of automated solutions (through Business-side testing, training, and maintenance)
  • Develop and deliver training to application users on an on-going basis
Requirements:  Senior Business Analyst - Student Support Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent experience is required
  • MBA or and MIS is preferred
  • Five to ten years of solid experience in a similar role analyzing Business needs
  • Experience with CampusVue or other Student Information Systems
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) will be a plus
