Description: Kforce is seeking a QA Analyst for a local client. Responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and conduct test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems; document test results and corrective actions required and log defects/issues for resolution
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test plans and scripts for functional testing and regression testing and performance and stress testing in multiple environments
- Create and maintain data set, hardware, and configurations consistent with test specification and test procedures
- Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives
- Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation
- Support internal IT Change Control procedures; provide quality systems review of applicable changes
- Assist in development of validation/systems compliance training on systems compliance initiatives; provide continuing compliance education support to the organization
- Identify differences between established standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards
- Provide accurate and timely status reporting as required by the Manager and corporate management including task and time reporting
- Perform Software Quality Assurance Reviews throughout Requirements Phase to UAT and provide corrective actions to ensure effective bug-free releases

Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise):
- 3+ years of related experience
- Automation Specialist with either LoadRunner or QTP experience (WRITING THE CODE)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and development of test cases
- Experience writing and maintaining test procedures and test specification
- Strong working knowledge of configuration management and deployment activities
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to recognize potential problems and escalate them to QA Lead or Project Manager
- Writing code of automated QA tools (QTP, Quality Center, and Load Runner)
- Strong VB Scripting knowledge
- Knowledge of following programming languages and technologies is a plus: Java, C# or VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET WinForms, ADO.NET, T-SQL, Classic ASP, VB6, COM IIS, and SML
- Expertise with HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies is a plus
- Understanding of full software development lifecycle including functional and technical specification, development, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance, and development is essential
