Description: Job Summary:
The Programmer Analyst designs, codes, debugs, and documents software, including interface components, graphical screens, and reports. This role provides technical expertise in developing and supporting enterprise wide system-s and participates in all phases of the SDLC utilizing C# and .NET. Translates technical specifications or end user requirements into programming design and implement those design solutions based on existing process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide reports on project development status to supervisor on a regular and timely basis
- Provide technical consultation in new systems development, and enhancement of existing systems and participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews with senior developers or management
- Participates in production support and problem resolution activities
- Tests and debugs programs for accuracy and functionality according to the System Development Life Cycle
- Supports applications programming efforts by researching and answering user questions along with other help desk support and trouble shooting activities
- Utilizes defined software development life cycle as the methodology for all projects
- Analyzes, designs, and develops new programs and maintains, modifies, and enhances existing systems and programs
- Coordinates database design and implementation with Database Administrators
- Provide technical direction and training to more junior level software developers and may also take direction from more senior software developers
- May participate in the selection of packaged software and work with outside vendors on software solutions

Requirements: Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop applications on multiple operating systems
- Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and knowledge of Visual Studio .NET environment, particularly C#
- Solid project management skills in planning and monitoring projects in a cross -functional environment
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL, along with DB2 and MySQL
