Description:  This person will be responsible for the tracking of marketing services costs (print, paper, postage, etc.) across all businesses. This person will work closely with marketing services coordinators and entire team to provide cost impacts of marketing changes, and to identify cost spending trends; update forecasts as appropriate across all companies; and develop new processes, including reporting tools for tracking marketing services costs by project with supporting detail on a year to date and forecast basis. This person will also serve as the key financial analyst in support of the budgeting and forecasting for group-wide marketing services costs and consolidation and integration expense. Ongoing marketing services expense analysis and analytical support is involved. Consolidation and integration expense forecasting, budgeting and actual reporting is included. This person will assist business units and key project managers in evaluating ROIs on proposed marketing services expenditures. This person will be involved in the preparation of various analytical reports. This role will design and generate financial and analytical reports; prepare monthly forecasts and help analyze variances; provide analytical support to all areas of the department; and assist in developing new analytical tools to measure department profitability. This person will analyze and present recommendations on various special projects; be involved in the preparation of various presentations utilizing financial data for executive meetings, business unit meetings, etc.; and serve as key financial and analytical liaison related to services related due diligence responsibility (mergers and acquisition activity, pro forma modeling, cost savings development and tracking). This person will also develop templates and gather data to provide analysis and support for tracking of key benchmarks across the group of businesses; and work with business unit personnel on operating assumptions.
Requirements:  Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • MBA is preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of business experience, preferably in the planning and analysis field
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and overall budgeting
  • Proven efficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Exposure to multi-brand, multi-unit corporate Finance
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work positively with others to reach a common goal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize workloads with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interpret data and provide relevant conclusions and recommendations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in a direct marketer and retail environment is a plus
  • Experience with marketing services (printing, paper, and postage) is a plus
  • Self-starter with a take charge attitude
