Description: We are searching for an experienced Senior Purchasing / Procurement Specialist with experience in the energy / power fields.
Responsibilities Include:
- Strategically partner with the business groups to procure highly technical services and materials for the Renewable Power industry
- Develop RFIs, RFPs and RFQs
- Negotiate terms and conditions with contractors/vendors, including long-term contracts
- Provide analyses and recommendations to support purchasing and contractual decisions
- Meet with vendors to obtain information on products and services and to cultivate effective relations
- Work closely with project management to ensure efficient and consistent procurement practices through all stages of the project
- Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders
- Maintain contract files and purchase order files and appropriate tracking system
- Stay current with market requirements, resources, pricing, and trends
- Willingness and ability to travel

Requirements: Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Experience working in the ENERGY / Power Industry - MUST (Construction, Chemical or related field will be considered)
- 2 to 5+ years of Purchasing / Procurement Experience - Required
- BS in Engineering or Business - REQUIRED; MBA is a plus
