Description:  Kforce is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst. This is a permanent, direct hire position for our local Milwaukee area client. Functions include:
  • Evaluates, analyzes, designs, and improves company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Acts as the project leader for new systems development and conversions
  • Identifies new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs
  • Makes alterations to existing programs to gather and report data as necessary
  • Acts as liaison to Information Systems and Finance staff to represent the interests of all Human Resources functions, and to coordinate the design, education, communication, and start-up of new HR systems
Responsibilities:
  • Systems design work in cooperation with IS and HR, including the rollout/training to end-users, within budgets and timelines
  • Serves as the project lead in HRIS software redesigns, installs, and upgrades
  • Conducts process mapping of all HR activities, and makes recommendations to change, automate, or improve the existing processes
  • Works with IS to create an environment where HR staff can access data and reporting needs themselves
  • Responsible for systems quality and data accuracy
  • Utilizes appropriate software report writing tools to produce customized reports
  • Utilizes established design guidelines in programming new system features
  • Provides one on one and group support to HRIS users
  • Administers HR systems security to ensure timely functionality for users
  • Effectively uses MS Office programs
  • Continually adapts and able to learn new procedures and software programs
Requirements:  Candidates must have core competencies in the responsibilities listed and must meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area
  • 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Demonstrated project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to provide, in user-friendly terms, sound ideas, and solutions to end users on HR systems related projects, tasks, reports, etc.
  • Ability to work with varying levels of management
