Description:  The Software Training Technician analyzes training needs and develops training programs for all levels of users in all offices as required. The Technician works independently to plan, organize and implement a wide range of software training activities. The Technician also provides standup group and personal training and maintains training data and statistics. The Technician also assists with Help Line calls when they pertain to training issues. Essential Functions:
  • Assesses, designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates training programs and services
  • Conducts orientation and training for new personnel
  • Provides on-the-job training for all personnel
  • Designs, documents and conducts software training classes and individualized training sessions
  • Assesses the training level and needs of personnel in a timely manner
  • Maintains training data and statistics
  • Maintains and enhances training materials to accommodate Firm changes
  • Provides timely responses to personnel requests for assistance
  • Answers Help Line questions pertaining to training or "how to" issues
  • Deploys adult-learning and customer service principles to all training situations
  • Communicates properly and promptly with personnel and external contacts at all times and must exhibit a high level of customer service at all times
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and improves proficiency of software applications
  • Maintains a working knowledge of computer hardware
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:  The Software Training Technician must have a High School Diploma. An Associate's degree is preferred. Two to four years of recent software training is required. Candidates must have an understanding and adherence to training principles and processes as well as expert level experience in MS Office Suite and document management. Candidates must have experience in a professional services environment, such as a law office, CPA firm, consulting firm, etc. Candidates must have administrative experience managing programs and services and must possess an excellent customer service attitude.
